Mstera isn't just a beautiful place... It's also Russian folk fine-art centre. The famous Russian lacquer miniature, the finest filigree gold and silver work, embroidery in satin-stitch and some other types of old Russian traditional crafts are flourishing here! A century ago Mstera was the most important icon Russian centre. All crafts have been preserved here.
To get here one should take train or bas from Moscow (300 km) via Vladimir or Viaznikui.
